Hi
I'm about to have a cleveland bay on loan for 2 weeks trial with a view to buy. He is 14 years old. I wondered if anyone knows whether they are generally long lived and how long that might be. Also are they prone to any diseases or problems. Milo seemed very sluggish and stumbled a lot when i rode him, he is very unfit not having worked for 6 months but i thought this seemed excessive.
I'd be grateful for any info you have on cleveland bays.
